Heritage C-Type Jaguars
Sports Car Centre is main importer and distributor of the Realm Engineering Heritage C-type. The Jaguar C-type, or 120C as it was known by the factory, was developed from the XK120 road car and succeeded in winning the 1951 Le Mans race at its first attempt. The C-type shows the purity of line and form in the classic sports-racing tradition, whilst also making for a very pleasurable touring car.
Each Heritage C-type is hand-built to order and is constructed to the original design with a tubular steel chassis and handcrafted composite body panels. As you would expect, the front and rear suspension assemblies are slightly modified XJ parts, with makes the vehicle more usable and comfortable to drive. The engine can be either a 3.4, 3.8 or 4.2 Jaguar XK unit which correct C-type exhaust manifolds.
Many of the details unique to the works cars can also be incorporated during the build process with body and trim colours personally selected by the owner.
